I had the opportunity to experience the new camping options at Bethel Woods and I think I've figured out the best perk of "roughing it" at the original site of the Woodstock Music Festival.

Bethel Woods Offers Several Camping Options for 2024 Season

Earlier this year, Bethel Woods announced the addition of camping options for concert goers.

They call it Peace, Love and Camping. From May through October on concert and festival days, guests can enjoy "a variety of camping types" on the grounds of Bethel Woods.

Pavilion Camping is located within the venue, its a short 5 minute walk from the stage or the Museum and has the following camping options:

Car Camping
RV Camping
Tent Camping
Glamping

You can learn more about how to book your stay at Bethel Woods at BethelWoodsCenter.org.

The Best Part of Camping at Bethel Woods

Of course camping at the original site of the Woodstock Music Festival is an amazing experience in itself. However there is one big perk, at least in my opinion, that tops them all.

Yes, it's great that you don't have to worry about the ride home and avoiding all of that concert traffic. But that's not the BEST reason to camp at Bethel Woods.

The best part about camping at Bethel Woods? The access you have to the bathrooms during the concert! If you're glamping you have your own personal bathroom in your "tent." Tent campers, RV and Car campers all have a bank of bathrooms to use as well.

When you sign up for camping at Bethel, you're given a wrist band that allows you access to the campgrounds. The campgrounds are accessible throughout the concert. So you can ditch the long line for the bathroom, head to your camp site, use the restroom and head back to enjoy the show.

The campgrounds are inside the venue, so camping guest don't have to go very far to get to their accommodations.

While Glamping at Bethel during the Luke Bryan concert, my friend decided to head back to the tent to use the bathroom and was back with in 7 minutes!
