There is another reason to take the kids into New York City, and this time it has nothing to do with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. There is a new museum, a pop-up museum if you will, one that is all about balloons.

The museum is a pop-up, not because I really want to go out of my way to include as many balloon jokes as I can, but it is a pop-up because the museum will only be in New York City for a short 2 1/2 months. Where is the museum, who can visit and can you actually pop the balloons? Keep reading to find out.

The new pop-up Balloon Museum will be opening on Pier 36 in New York City. The physical address is 299 South St, New York, NY 10038. Ticket prices average $40 to $68 depending on the age of the person who will be attending the museum, and if you are wishing to visit at a time that is considered a "Peak Time" or not.

When does the Balloon Museum open in New York City?

The Balloon Museum on Pier 36, will be opening on October 27, 2023 and remain open through January 14, 2024. According to their website, this museum is perfect for kids and adults, it has many interactive displays, plus guests are encouraged to interact with all of the balloons, including taking as many pictures as you would like.
