Ice Carvings, Tree Lighting And More Coming To Free Hudson Valley Holiday Festival

The holiday cheer is spreading all throughout the Hudson Valley.

Festive holiday decorations and lighting are brightening up our villages and towns. Unique and local events have taken place within our communities already and more are on their way.

A special holiday kaleideshow will take place at an Ulster County, NY resort. Guests will also have the chance to make ornaments and see Santa.

The Snowflake Festival Will Take Place In Ulster County, NY

The preparation has begun. Soon enough, local residents will come together to celebrate the holiday season with cheer, joy and one of a kind experiences.

The Kingston Uptown Business Association shared information about an upcoming event.

Santa will join in on Uptown Kingston's Annual Snowflake Festival. This free event will take place on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 6pm until 8pm.

Holiday themed entertainment, performances and more will happen.

Will The Snowflake Festival In Kingston, NY Be Indoor And Outdoor?

Guests can venture indoors to different businesses and celebrate the outdoor fun as well throughout the Historic Stockade District.

Kingston's locally owned stores will be open and offering goodies to visitors such as The Kingston Candy Bar, Petalos, Theresa & Co, Urban Fork and more.

The Kingston Uptown Business Association, also known as KUBA organized this special occasion, The Snowflake Festival. Those who visit can take in the beautiful sights and decorations on the historic streets of Kingston during this special festival.

Ice Carvings, Tree Lighting And More Will Happen At The Snowflake Festival In Kingston, NY

At The Snowflake Festival, magicians and entertainers won't be the only people drawing in attention. Horse drawn carriage rides will be offered in addition to the appearance of carolers. Ice sculptures can be spotted throughout this festival.

A special bike raffle will take part in this event. The tree lighting will take place on Wall and North Front Streets.

Head to the Ulster Savings Bank to enjoy campfire smores. The Senate Garage will feature jugglers and Wall Street will have a photo bus available.

Meet Santa At The Senate House In Kingston, NY

The Kingston Uptown Business Association also shared information about a special meet and greet with Santa.

Santa and Mrs. Clause will be rolling in on an antique fire truck. Be on the lookout for their elves. By the end of the night, The Senate House will welcome Santa for a special meet and greet. 

The schedule of events and map are included in this article to make the magical night of the Snowflake Festival fun and easy. Free parking is also listed in the municipal lots on North Front Street, Fair Street Extension, Court House and Kingston Plaza.
