Jimmy Eat World hit the stage at WRRV Sessions in May and broke out a few fan favorites, including a rarely played early song from their Clarity album.

To be honest, when I asked Jimmy Eat World if they'd come play WRRV Sessions, I wasn't expecting them to say yes. But it certainly never hurts to ask. I had noticed that they were playing on a Thursday in Maine, then on a Saturday in Pennsylvania. It's a long trip, so why not break it up with a stop in the Hudson Valley?

WRRV has been supporting Jimmy Eat World's music since 2001 and the release of their self-titled album that included the smash "The Middle." So here we are 16 years later and our paths will cross twice in one year.

Jimmy Eat World returned to the Hudson Valley for a show with Incubus later in the summer at Bethel Woods. Beacon-based production company Point of Order Productions dropped in with cine cameras for some great performance footage.
