Josh Eppard Of Coheed And Cambria Recaps 2018 Summer Tour
Josh Eppard, drummer for the progressive alt-rock band Coheed & Cambria stopped by WRRV to discuss their successful tour with Taking Back Sunday, the new album and connecting with Hall of Fame pitcher Randy Johnson on the road. Originally hailing from Kingston, he's spent a majority of the summer rocking out in venues across the country.
The band is gearing up for the release of their next album and just released another song called 'The Gutter'. Coming in at a full 78 minutes, The Unheavenly Creatures will be available on October 5th with the pre-sale up and running now. The next release is a return to the concept album that has extended through their discography known as the 'Amory Wars'. Rolling Stone reports this is the first album in the 'Vaxis' series.
Coheed & Cambria were among the first bands to perform at WRRV Sessions at Newburgh Brewing Company. Should we try to make that happen again sometime? It was a little dark in there, we'll bring more lights next time.
