Ladies, Put Your Best Fish Forward for New York
Ladies have you got proof that you know what it takes to reel the big one in? Or maybe a little one too? New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is asking you to take a moment to show off what you got, or more specifically caught.
The though process involved in #WomenHuntFishNY is that there are many women across New York that do it, but not too many that are showing other ladies that they can do it too. By sharing your photos, you will encourage others to join in on the fun.
Here are the categories that you can submit your photo in, the photos can be from any time of year, but must be taking while fishing in New York State:
- Freshwater fishing
- Saltwater Fishing
- Ice Fishing
- Youth (girls) fishing
- Mothers and Children/Multi-Generational
- Action shots (Casting, reeling, or landing the big one!)
The photos need to be submitted by July 8, 2019. It is encouraged for you to include a sentence or two about the photo. Submit the photos via email to womenhuntfishny@dec.ny.gov.
