These Major Retailers Will Be Closed on Thanksgiving 2022

It's been recently announced that three major retailers will be closed on Thanksgiving this year: Target, Kohl's and Best Buy.

Kohl's Thanksgiving Closing

Kohl's customers who wish to get in on special deals may still do so online and on the store's apps Thanksgiving day. The retailer already has a number of Black Friday deals posted on its website to enjoy.

Best Buy Closed For Thanksgiving

Even though the electronics retailer will not be open on Thanksgiving, they will be extending their hours for the holiday season as early as October 30th. Similar to Kohl's, they will still be offering deals online on Thanksgiving.

Target Closed For Thanksgiving

Target's closure is continuing its Thanksgiving tradition by being closed during the Thanksgiving holiday. The company has said this is part of a permanent shift.

More Store Closures

For years, major retailers have been under heavy criticism for remaining open on Thanksgiving and keeping workers from spending the holiday with their families. In response, a growing number of retailers have started closing their doors on the holiday.
