Mets To Start Live Streaming Games This Season

The Mets are about to join the majority of the MLB and will begin live-streaming their games on their website, SNY.tv, and the NBC Sports App.

Streaming of games had been available on the MLB App, but only if you were out of the NYC Metro/Mets area. Mets games will now be available on every platform. PCs, tablets, phones, etc.

This is pretty great news. It kinda drove me crazy how I would lose my Mets games when I was out of area, but my phone would still register as in New York.

The one catch is that you have to authenticate that you are already an SNY subscriber through your cable system. If you want to make sure that the streaming is available, head to SNY's authentification FAQ page.
