Now Serving: Moonrise Makes Kingston Pop-Up Permanent
New year...new permanent spot to get your hands on these bagels that everyone is raving about.
It's official, Moonrise will continue to serve the greater Kingston area, but with a bit of a twist...
The Moonrise Bagels 411
For those new to the idea of Moonrise (where ya been), it all started on New Year's Eve 2020, when Jeremy and Ali (owners) had an idea to put pizza inside a bagel. Though their first attempt wasn't what they had hoped, some time, effort, and tinkering lead to the creation of the perfect stuffed bagel with things like egg with bacon or sausage and cheese, philly cheesesteak, buffalo chicken, and more. In their words:
Word spread quickly, and soon everyone in Woodstock wanted to try a stuffed bagel. Within weeks, what started out as a passion project soon evolved into a bonafide bagel business.
The first official Moonrise Bagels location launched in 2021 to much success in Woodstock, and in 2024, they crossed the river into Dutchess County and began serving up their stuffed creations in Poughkeepsie at their second brick and mortar location. That location recently received a visit (and great review) from Governor Hochul, too.

Just The Stuffed Moonrise Location To Opem in Kingston January 9th
Fast forward to October, when fans and followers noticed some activity on the Moonrise social media accounts, teasing what appeared to be another location with their signature blue color brand.
From there, a Kingston 'pop-up' location operated from October 26th through the end of the year.
A surprise (but very welcome) announcement came on Friday January 3rd, thanking Kingston for their support and for showing up for their pop-up...and with the news that 746 Broadway would now be a permanent Moonrise location, just a bit different from the other two shops with a slightly different menu.
'Just the Stuffed' will officially open on Thursday, January 9th and serve Thursday through Monday from 7:30am until 7pm, with breakfast stuffed bagels on the menu from 7:30am-12pm, and afternoon stuffed bagels from 12pm-7pm.
They have also teased a 'very special return of a Moonrise Bagels classic' as well, with more details coming soon.
