Most Watched TV Shows in the Hudson Valley in 2023 (SO FAR)
2022 and 2023 really have been the years for terrific comeback stories. For anyone who watched the Oscars, they saw actors Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan receive awards after decades of being away from the camera, and it couldn't have happened to nicer guys.
On the small screen, people have been applauding Jennifer Coolidge for her performance in White Lotus. Personally, I'm surprised everyone is calling this a comeback. I never felt like Jennifer Coolidge left. She has been consistently acting since the 1990s, and well known for her roles in movies like A Cinderella Story, Legally Blonde, Promising Young Woman, and the infamous Stifler's mom in the American Pie series. She also had a recurring role on 2 Broke Girls. Not to mention, she is one of the most popular actresses to do an impersonation of.
So personally, I don't consider this a comeback; however, I am so happy that she is getting some well-deserved recognition. I will admit, Coolidge typically has filled supporting roles throughout her career, stealing most scenes that she is in. White Lotus does put her front and center, which is a nice change.
White Lotus is just one of many fantastic shows that people have been watching recently. I asked the Hudson Valley what shows they are watching, and these are the results. Are you a fan of any of these? Let us know through the app!
