Music in the Parks 2017 Starts June 7, Free Concerts

The Music in the Parks concert series, an annual tradition in Hyde Park is set to begin on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at the Vanderbilt Mansion.

Each year the Hyde Park Recreation Department, along with their sponsors, work hard to plan free or low cost family activities and Music in the Parks is one of the most popular. The performance locations will vary each week and alternate with Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park and Mills Mansion in Staatsburg, with the June 14th performance taking place indoors at the FDR High School Auditorium.

Here is the performance schedule, performance time is 7pm, until August when the performance time switches to 6:30pm.

• 7/12 The Greyhounds, Mills Mansion
• 7/19 Big Band Sound, Vanderbilt Mansion
• 7/26 Wishing on Stars Jazz Band, Mills Mansion
• 8/2 Cross Cultural Connection, Vanderbilt Mansion 6:30pm
• 8/9 Four Guys in Disguise, Mills Mansion, 6:30pm
• 8/16 (8/17 Rain Date) West Point Military Academy Band, Vanderbilt Mansion 6:30pm
