There is a new culinary trend, wait it might be considered a resurgence in a classic trend, I am talking about the burger or more specifically an "elevated burger." Brian Arnoff, chef and owner at Kitchen Sink Food & Drink will be opening up his second Beacon restaurant next month (May 2017) which is going to be focusing on this classic menu item.

The restaurant is to be called Meyer’s Olde Dutch, which will be at 184 Main Street in Beacon, NY. For customers who are also seeking a craft cocktail or beer to enjoy with their meal, Meyer's Olde Dutch (MOD) will also have a focus on these items.

According to a press release, this is what owner Brian Arnoff has to say about what people can expect from the menus at MOD:

“All of our Kitchen Sink philosophies about using local food purveyors will be applied at Meyer’s Olde Dutch, with NY state beef and cheese, and local produce – including from our family micro farm in Hyde Park. Our full-service bar will feature a large selection of NY craft beer, locally produced wine and house-crafted cocktails.”

The burgers will not just be made from beef, expect to also see lamb, chicken and vegan burger options on the menu as well. Expect Meyer's to feature counter service with items available to eat-in or take out.

We will update this story, when we get an exact opening date. Can't wait to try it.
