The Hudson Valley's newest hotel opens on Friday and will give their guests a taste of the good life.

Hilton has announced that they will open their newest hotel this Friday in the Hudson Valley. The Homewood Suites by Hilton will begin taking reservations as they become the latest hotel to open in the area.

The new hotel will offer a combination of spacious studio and one-bedroom suites that feature fully-equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. The Homewood Suites will also be offering the customers some pretty impressive perks.

Guests of the new hotel will receive complimentary hot breakfast seven days a week and be invited to an evening social that includes complimentary beer and wine for all guests over 21.  Other amenities include an outdoor patio area, complete with multiple fire pits, an outdoor kitchen under a large pergola and a putting green.  The hotel also boasts a 750-square-foot fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, including a Peloton bike, indoor saline swimming pool and an outdoor sports court.

The Homewood Suites by Hilton is located behind Starbucks on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie near the IBM campus. General manager, Hans Kleinganz says the location is perfect for the new hotel. “Our spacious suites offer all of the comforts of home, and we look forward to welcoming guests and ensuring they enjoy their stay with us."

A recent search of the Hilton website showed rates starting from $144 to $200 a night depending on the dates of your stay. Reservations are now being accepted.
