It's another week jam-packed with new music releases.
Every week we talk about the new alternative music releases. Whether it's albums, singles, or remastered albums, we cover it all. If you want to hear the latest alternative music, make sure to check out Sunday Studio Cuts every week on WRRV. AJR
AJR dropped a new song on Thursday of this week. It's called "Way Less Sad" and is off their upcoming album OK Orchestra. The album is set to be released on March 26th. Listen to their new song here.
Strumbellas
The Strumbellas are back with a single as well. The song is called "Greatest Enemy". In a press release, lead singer Simon Ward said "The Strumbellas had a rough start to 2020 with cancelled tours and mental health struggles, and then the pandemic happened. This is a song about facing the one fight you can't run from". Listen below.
Manchester Orchestra
Manchester Orchestra has also released a new single this week. It's called "Bead Head" and this follows the live stream concert they had last week. Manchester Orchestra will also release an album on April 30 called Million Masks of God. Listen to their single here.
Mike Shinoda
Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park teamed up with Upsahl & iann dior for a new song called "Happy Endings". It's unclear if we can expect an album from Mike later this year. Listen to the track below.
24KGoldn
After the success of their hit "Mood" 24KGoldn is back with another song. It's titled "3, 2, 1". Listen to it here.
HAIM ft. Taylor Swift
HAIM teamed up with one of the biggest stars in music, Taylor Swift for a new song. It's called "Gasoline". This isn't the first time Swift has teamed up with HAIM. They were together on Swift's song "no body, no crime". Listen below.
Lord Huron
This is the first new music from Lord Huron since 2018. They released a song called "Not Dead Yet". They'll also be performing live on Jimmy Kimmel this Tuesday. Check out their song here.
Mobley
You've heard Mobely before on Sunday Studio Cuts. His song "James Crow" was our first Fresh Pick ever and he was on the debut episode of the Studio Cuts Podcast. Now, he has officially released his new album Young And Dying In The Occident Supreme. Listen to the hit James Crow here.
nothing.nowhere
After releasing a new song last week, nothing.nowhere has released their album Trauma Factory. Rumor has it nothing.nowhere is going to make an appearance in the future on the Studio Cuts Podcast. Listen to the title track of the new album below.
