Talk about a deep sleeper? The NY Post is reporting that a 22-year-old New York man was arrested after beating up an MTA conductor. The reason he attacked? Apparently, the conductor woke him from a sound sleep.

The Post says the incident happened Saturday morning on 6 train at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station. Witnesses say the assailant punched the conductor repeatedly on the face and head.

The 58-year-old MTA employee was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital with bruising to the face. The 22-year-old was arrested and charged. Now he'll be able to enjoy a good nap or two while in his cell.
