That dream of a European vacation is getting closer and closer to becoming reality. (Look kids, Big Ben, Parliament!) Norwegian Airlines began service out of Stewart International Airport Newburgh in June of this year and have been making slow and consistent expansions ever since.

Now Norwegian Air is flying non-stop from our tiny Hudson Valley town non-stop to Edinburgh. For those of you who are keeping score, it is in Scotland.

The flights from Stewart will leave daily during the summer and three times per week, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Promotional fares will be available (for a limited time) for as little as $99.

The airline has a low fare tracker to show you when these promotional fares are available.

The addition of Norwegian Airlines to Orange County, according to a press release, will bring with it an additional 230 jobs per year, $13 million in total wages and $36 million in total revenue.

Will having the opportunity to take a non-stop flight from Orange County to Europe encourage you to travel? Or are you planning to stay home?
