Pennsylvania Man Flushes Grandparents’ Ashes Down Toilet After Getting Kicked Out of House
In one of the more bizarre and vile stories we've heard this week, a Pennsylvania man, with a flair for the macabre, is being accused of flushing is own grandparent's ashes down the toilet.
The story starts when the 33 year-old McKeesport, PA man was kicked out of mother's house after she complained of his excessive drinking and marijuana use in September 2018. The man had been staying with his mother for a brief period for undisclosed reasons.
You'd think the man would have appreciated his mother's nice gesture in providing him a place to stay, but the world's worst son, and grandson, had his own plans. The man's mother told police in February that a relative had told her he had proceeded to flush his grandparents' ashes down the toilet in retaliation for getting kicked out.
But he wasn't down there. Both The Tribune Review and NBC NY report that while the son initially denied flushing grandma and grandpa down the crapper, he later warned his own mother she'd be next. Yes, the vindictive son threatened to one day flush his own mother's ashes once she had passed away.
NBC says the man faces two counts of abuse of a corpse and one count of criminal mischief.
