Pets Alive no kill animal shelter in Middletown is holding a great fundraiser where you can cool down, maybe get a little dirty, and help raise money to help out the 'furry' kids.
This Ice Cream Social will be held on Saturday July 9, 2017 from 11am to 8pm at the Sugar Shack located at 9 King Street in Middletown. Sugar Shack will be donating 10% of the total receipts for the day to Pets Alive.

Here is what Pet's Alive is all about:
Pets Alive is a no-kill animal shelter, located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, about 1 1/2 hours from New York City. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place animals in need. Victims of neglect, abuse, and violence, many of them have special needs and have been rejected by other organizations.
Animals at the sanctuary range from dogs and cats to farm animals. Many of the animals at Pets Alive are older, have special needs or require special care.
