A Wet Spring and Smoky Summer in the Hudson Valley
When the rain disappeared, it was unfortunately replaced by its opposite. Large wildfires in Canada sent massive amounts of smoke down to the United States, with nearly constant air quality warnings in New York from the Department of Environmental Conservation.
"Rare" Weather Combination in the Hudson Valley This Weekend
Now, in the waning weeks of summer, and with the school year right around the corner, the National Weather Service has shared some positive news. A pairing of events they are calling "rare" are set to make a memorable weekend (below).
Clear, Smoke Free Skies in the Northeast
As the NWS shared, the northeast United States is not only experiencing a break in clouds and humidity, but a respite from Canadian wildfire smoke as well. Now the decision is what to do on such a stellar weekend.
