Stewart's Shops has announced another record setting year for their Holiday Match Program.

Thanks to donations from communities throughout the Hudson Valley and across New York State the annual Stewart's Shops Holiday Match program raised an impressive $926,000. According to officials that's more than a $50,000 increase over last years contributions. If that amount wasn't impressive enough, remember it's called the Holiday Match program for a reason. Stewart's Shops will double those donations, matching them penny for penny. Bringing total donations to be contributed to local charities to an outstanding  $1.85 million dollars.

“The Holiday Match program continues to be extraordinarily successful with the hard work of the Stewart’s partners and the generosity of our customers,” says Stewart’s Foundation President Susan Dake. “Nearly 1,600 children’s organizations received Holiday Match funding from our last campaign.”

Local children’s organizations who would like to be considered to receive contributions from the Stewart's Holiday Match program can applying online at StewartsShops.com or collect paper applications at  any Stewart's Shop location. The deadline to apply is January 31st. Every dollar collected through the Holiday Match Program is donated the local children’s charities, funds will be disrupted in March 2017. This is the 30th year for the program.
