Route 300 Closed in New Windsor

Police in Orange County are urging motorists to use alternate routes while a section of Route 300 is closed to all traffic.

Due to Route 300 being closed to ALL vehicle traffic at the Railroad Tracks near Old Temple Hill Road. (They are replacing the full section of Tracks in that area.)

The public is being asked to avoid Route 300 in New Windsor, Route 32 in New Windsor and Route 94 in New Windsor.

In addition, Union Avenue from Route 300 to Route 94 in New Windsor should be avoided due to detoured traffic.

The traffic situation has caused up to 30-minute delays in this area and it may be worse by evening rush hour.
