Taylor’s New Music Quarantine Playlist
Here is a list of all the music Taylor thinks you should listen to during quarantine.
Quarantine and self-isolation are the perfect time to listen to new music because let's get real: what else is there to do? There's so much new music out. Pearl Jam dropped their new album, Gigaton. Nine Inch Nails released a new album early. I can't keep up, but I'm so excited about it all. Here's 5 things I'm listening to this week:
1. Grouplove- Deleter
Grouplove dropped their newest album, Healer, earlier this march. I'm yet to listen to the album, so I'll get back to you on that. But I absolutely LOVE this dong Deleter. It's a total jam and I think we all need some upbeat music right now.
2. Run The Jewels- Ooh La La
Run The Jewels is set to release RTJ4 sometime this summer, in anticipation of their tour with Rage Against the Machine. They've been dropping a couple songs from the new album and so far Ooh La La is my favorite.
3. Nine Inch Nails- Ghosts V-VI
Nine Inch Nails released their newest instrumental album Ghosts V-VI early. It's even available for a free download on their website. I haven't listened to the entire two-sided album yet but so far I'm really into Around Every Corner off VI: Locusts.
4. Saint Motel- A Good Song Never Dies
I'm a MEGA Saint Motel Fan. I don't think there's a single song they have that they don't like. Their newest release, A Good Song Never Dies, is hopefully foreshadowing The Motion Picture Soundtrack Part 2.
5. Caution- Killers
The Killers are set to release a new album in May called Imploding The Mirage. They also announced a tour to go with it. I won't lie, the single Caution took some time to grow on me. But now I'm a true fan of the song.
