The Walking Dead Stars to Appear at Comic Shop in Port Jervis, NY

This Saturday is Free Comic Book Day and one Hudson Valley comic book shop is bringing a cast member from AMC's The Walking Dead.

When most people think about comic books they think of characters like Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, The Green Lantern and Wolverine. That's fair because those are some of the biggest names in the industry and they are massive in the cinematic universe for comics. Others might not be fans of reading comic books but they love the characters and the story because they were turned into a popular movie or television series. Did you ever watch HBO's Tales From the Crypt? The show and many episodes are based on the comic that came out in the early 50's. How about Lucifer on Netflix? That character is from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman comic series.

The biggest comic book series to blow up the small screen is arguably The Walking Dead. The show has been on for 12 years and has aired 11 season. The final season is coming soon.

The show has captivated fans since the premiere in 2010. This weekend to celebrate Free Comic Book Day, Dahlia Legault who played Francine for 3 seasons and Jeremy Ambler who is their famous walker that they use for most of The Walking Dead's merchandising and advertising will appear at Haven For Heroes in Port Jervis NY 34 Front St. From 12pm-5pm.
