Throwing out an opening pitch is nerve-wracking. One of the coolest things I've gotten to do is throw out the first pitch at a minor league baseball game and, although it's incredibly exciting and something that I still talk about (endlessly, like a dork), it's stressful. You don't want to look like the goofball that puts the ball in the dirt or over the catcher's head.

Or do... whatever this is.

 

 

I'm sure it wasn't fun for him to look foolish in front of friends, family, and, well, the world in his native Queens. But then he probably comforted himself by sleeping on a gigantic mountain of money and forgot all about it.
