Ulster County, New York Heroes Rescue Stranded Cat From Treetop
I guess you can say it was all in a days work for a tree service in Ulster County who answered the call for a cat that was stranded in at the very top of a tree.
Cat Climbs To Very Top of Tree Near Ulster County SPCA
Something seemed to spook this poor kitten in Ulster County who wound up scaling a nearby tree, finding itself in a bit of a bind. The Ulster County SPCA reports that the first rescue effort spooked the poor cat even more, causing it to climb further into the branches which required additional help, or as they referred to, a call to 'the big guns.'
Expert Tree Service out of Hurley, NY was called to the scene where the cat was stranded, and with their bucket trucks and team, worked with the UCSPCA to make the rescue as smooth as possible. Employee Keith, who received a great deal of praise and recognition from the community, was able to both operate the bucket and finagle the cat into the carrier, 'deftly plucking the kitty off the branch.'
The team at the UCSPCA shared the following sentiment:
honestly, it was in the nick of time as we could see the cat was very cold and exhausted from clinging to such a small branch to keep from falling.

Expert Tree Services Rescues Cat From Ulster County Tree
The grey kitty, named by the team at Expert Tree Services Seargent PssPssPss, is safe and secure on the ground, warm and comfy at the Ulster County SPCA. The cat is receiving the proper care and necessary services, and not currently up for adoption (at this time).
Keith and the team at Expert Tree Service were applauded for their heroic efforts in getting Seargent PssPssPss on the ground safely, and for 'always answering the call' whenever the SPCA needs their help.
We are so glad to have businesses like this in our community who love animals as much as we do and support our local nonprofits endlessly.
