
New York State Police Find Unidentified Body in Hudson Valley Creek
Multiple units within the New York State Police Department are investigating after an unidentified body was found floating in a Hudson Valley creek.
New York State Police shared that troopers from Troop F in Coxsackie, NY responded to a call reporting an unidentified male floating in Catskill Creek in Catskill, NY on Sunday, November 2nd.
Unidentified Body Found Floating in Catskill Creek in Greene County, NY
The NYSP announced that both the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Troop F Forensic Identification Unit were working on both identifying the body as well as the cause of death. It was at least the second grim discovery in as many weeks in the Hudson Valley.
Human Remains Found in New Windsor, NY in Orange County
On October 17th, it was reported that authorities in Orange County were investigating remains found by employees of Central Hudson in New Windsor, NY. While theories in that case included the body having ties to an old mob burial ground, the NYSP has no such leads with their current investigation in Greene County.
