What are some of the most noteworthy historical spots located in the Hudson Valley? Is there any place that  you would like to add?

It was recently announced on the State of New York's Page that Governor Andrew Cuomo has set out to add 20 more properties to New York state's historical society.

Among the 20 new sites, The Cash-Draper House in Middletown that was built close to 1842 has been added.

If you were to make a historical tour guide map of the Hudson Valley, what locations would you put on the map? What places do out-of-towners need to see and what places should all the locals know about?

According to Trip Advisor, their some of their top rated land marks are:

Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz

Vassar College in Poughkeepsie

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Home in Hyde Park

Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park

Do you agree with these or is there anything you would add.
