What is Your Comfort Television Show?

Is there a television show that you can watch over and over again?

Some believe that watching television is a complete waste of time. Others find it to be a relaxing escape. What is it about watching one of your favorite shows repeatedly that makes you feel good? There could be several reasons. It might give you that shot of nostalgia. Watching a show from 10 or 15 years ago might take you back to a better time. Those good memories come in the form of dopamine. Another reason to watch these old shows could be due to familiarity. Sometimes we need a show on as background noise. There's no better thing to watch than a show that you have seen about 15 times.

My comfort show that's always streaming is Frasier. I can't count how many times I have seen that show and it never seems to get old. My second comfort show may be The Simpsons. Both shows have over 10 seasons which is key. My wife has binged Supernatural and Law and Order: SVU over and over again for about 6 years now. One of those two shows is playing when I get home from work.
