Will Amy Lee ever grab the microphone and sing again with Evanescense? Here is what she has to say about that. Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee says that at this time, she has no plans to release any music with her band in the "foreseeable future." Speaking with Rolling Stone, the singer added that she's "opened minded" about listening to offers.  "I don't like to make predictions about the future, because I'm honestly open-minded, and I would never want to say I'm done with any of it, because it's a huge part of me."  "I've loved my time with Evanescence, I wouldn't want to just throw it away, but, for the foreseeable future, I don't have any plans to do anything with the band.  Lee will release her new album, Amy Lee Featuring Dave Eggar: Aftermath, on August 25. She told MTV that the LP is "not what you'd expect." The album functions as the soundtrack to the film War Story.
