Not that we want to rush the summer, but, we wouldn't mind being at MJN surrounded by a bunch of Hudson Valley'ers ready to rock with some big bands!

WRRV Presents The Dead Seven Tour at MJN

Save the date for Tuesday August 25th as WRRV prepares to welcome Theory of a Deadman, Sevendust and Return to Dust to Poughkeepsie.

In what has been referenced as 'decades in the making' Sevendust and Theory of a Deadman are teaming up for this co-headlining tour that kicks off in early August and runs 36 dates.

In speaking with Consequence, Theory's Tyler Connolly shared:

We are beyond pumped to hit the road with one of the most beloved rock bands and friends Sevendust. Playing shows with them going back to 2002 man this tour is gonna crush! Cannot wait to play some new tracks and some old ones too. Excited for rockers Return to Dust to join us as well.

Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust responded with the following:

Man, hearing Tyler say that takes me back. We’ve been throwing down together for a long time, and it’s always been nothing but love and high energy. Theory of a Deadman always brings it, so we already know this tour is going to be something special. We’re beyond excited to get out there, share the stage again, and give the fans moments you can’t recreate anywhere else. Our friends in Return to Dust will be there too. Much respect to those guys, and we’re ready to crush this thing together.

New Music From Both Headliners

Sevendust just released their 15th studio album titled One back on May 1st, and while Theory of a Deadman did drop a new single titled Barricade back in April, there is not yet any information on a new album.

Theory, no strangers to the Hudson Valley, have previously played the Chance in Poughkeepsie and while in town, visited the WRRV studios in the past.
