Local Winery to Hold Barrel Tasting

Are you interested in learning more about wine? Heading to a barrel tasting might be the way to get some information, directly from a wine maker and get to try some wine too.

Robiberio Winery in New Paltz is holding a Barrel Tasting and Cellar Tour weekend on April 2 & 3, 2016.

The overall goal of a barrel tasting event is for people to try the wine, directly from the barrel, to see how the wine is evolving during its maturation. Ideally, one would try the sample from the barrel and then again a few months (or years) later when that wine is bottled. It is also a great opportunity to tour a winery and ask questions in a relaxed environment.

Barrel Tasting and Cellar Tour at Robibero Winery, located at 714 Albany Post Rd in New Paltz, 12561, reservations are required, the cost is $25 per person.
