What started as a wild-weather-Wednesday evening turned into a phenomenal night of energy and great music in the taproom at Newburgh Brewing Company. WRRV Sessions welcomed back The Happy Fits for their second appearance at Sessions, and it was most definitely a night to remember!

WRRV Sessions, The Quick and Easy 411

For the past ten years, WRRV has brought an insane number of musicians and bands to Newburgh Brewing Company for FREE shows. We've packed the taproom to the brim for acts like Papa Roach, Coheed and Cambria, Shinedown (Smith & Myers), All Time Low (Alex), Blue October (Justin), introduced you to new (at the time) bands like Royel Otis who have gone on to become a household name and play major festival circuits, and everything in between.

These shows have always been a way for us to connect you to the WRRV artists you hear on the radio every day, at no cost, in an up close and personal fashion. We commemorated ten years of Sessions with our own Newburgh Brewing Company BEER!

The Happy Fits Return to WRRV Sessions

Back in November of 2022, The Happy Fits visited the taproom for the first time, cello and all, for a great night of music. Fast forward nearly three years, we welcomed the New Jersey born band back to Sessions with some new additions to the lineup (and yes, that incredible electric cello).

The energy was high, the sound was top notch, and just one month and change from the release of their new album Lovesick, The Happy Fits gave us another great WRRV Sessions performance. What made the night even better was it came just three days ahead of their show at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock where they'll play that brand new (unreleased) album in its entirety! Congrats to all of our WRRV winners that are headed to the show at Bearsville on the 16th, and thank you again to The Happy Fits for bringing such a great time to the WRRV Sessions stage!
