Young The Giant Performing at WRRV Sessions

A major announcement in the world of WRRV Sessions, Young The Giant are slated to perform at Newburgh Brewing Company next month. The Feb. 22 performance is free and open to the public. The band will be performing 4-5 songs acoustic, followed by a VIP meet and greet.

Please keep in mind, once we hit venue capacity we won't be able to let anyone else in.

This won't be our first up close and personal encounter with Young The Giant. In August of 2014, the band performed a private concert for approximately 20 WRRV listeners in our Atrium. This mini-concert came about after their show at Bethel Woods was canceled due to the drummer of Kings of Leon breaking his ribs.

To this day, their epic performance of 'Mind Over Matter' is one of the most watched videos on the WRRV Youtube channel.

As dates continue to roll out for 2017, we're excited to welcome THE HEYDAZE this Thursday. Doors will open at 4pm and the performance is at 6. The band is based in NYC and are currently working on their debut album. If the album is half as good as their new song, we can't wait to hear what they come up with.
