Are you the type of person who likes to wait until the last possibly minute to do something? If you are, New York is giving you extra time to get yourself registered to vote.

Normally the deadline to be able to register to vote is October 11, 2019. This week Governor Cuomo signed legislation that will extend voter registration until February 14, 2020.

If you are wanting to be able to vote in the New York Presidential Primaries on April 28, 2020, you will need to be registered to vote by that new February 14, 2020 deadline. For more info on where you can register online to vote, click here.
