9/24/19 National Voter Registration Day, Are You Registered?
If you have been noticing every time you log into Facebook there has been a prompt mentioning "Voter Registration." It has been suggesting that if you are registered to vote that you should share your status and if you are not registered it is suggesting that you do so.
In New York it is pretty easy to register to vote. You can
- Register online through the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Register through the New York Board of Elections
New York is one of the "Motor Voter" states. The Motor Voter law is what the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 is more commonly referred to as.
Are you registered to vote? If you are not registered, would you can to share with us why you are not? We are not trying to start a debate, just genuinely interested in your reasons why.
