A Poughkeepsie woman has been arrested and charged with Arson following a November fire at an apartment complex.

On December 6, 2016 the Town of Poughkeepsie Police arrested Suzanne Tucker, 63, of Poughkeepsie. The arrest stems from an apartment complex fire on November 22, 2016.

At the time of incident, officers were requested by the Fairview Fire Department, as Tucker was uncooperative and continued to remain in her apartment despite an active fire.

An investigation by members of the police and fire departments determined that Tucker had intentionally set two separate fires inside her apartment.

Tucker was charged with Arson third-degree, and Reckless Endangerment, both felonies. She was arraigned and sent to Dutchess County Jail on $25,000 cash bail, or $50,000 bond.
