Adams Fairacre Farms Offering Fall Festive Churros

I don't know why, when or how, but over the years the churro has become my guilty pleasure and favorite treat.

Wherever I go, if there's a churro on the menu I'm most likely getting it. Locally I've had Eddies Churros, the churros from the Dutchess County Fair and churros in cities like San Antonio, Texas and San Diego, California.

Up until Sunday afternoon, the best churro I've ever had was from a little shack in San Deigo.

I made a stop at Adams Fairacre Farms on 44 in Poughkeepsie Sunday morning to pick up some fresh apple cider donuts to bring to a friends house for brunch. Now I don't know if they do this at all the Adam's locations, but they have a little stand set up outside where they make the fresh apple cider donuts and sell things like cider, pies and yes, churros.

I didn't even realize the deliciousness sitting in front of me until a little girl bought one. For $1.25 you can enjoy an apple pie or caramel filled churro. Best $1.25 I spent in my life

You can't really see it in the picture, but I had to buy the apple pie filling one considering the fall weather we were experiencing.  My only suggestion, warm it up a little before you enjoy.

No word yet on if the other Adams locations in Wappingers, Newburgh and Kingston are offering these bad boys.

It's a fun twist on a fall snack. I know what I'll be doing every weekend. Have you tried the fall festive churros?
