Adult Swim is Coming To New York For A Free Event
If you've ever been a stoned college kid who just got home from a party but was just a bit too paranoid to go straight to bed, you're probably familiar with Adult Swim. After hours, kid-oriented Cartoon Network decides to air some of the weirdest (and decidedly adult-oriented) shows currently on TV. Right now, they're home to Rick and Morty, one of the best shows on TV, but they're also the place to watch shows like Robot Chicken, The Eric Andre Show, Venture Bros., and whatever Tim and Eric are up to at any given moment.
So it's pretty exciting to find out that Adult Swim is going to be nearby for their "Adult Swim On The Green" tour. On Tuesday, October 3rd the event will be held at Socrates Sculpture Park in New York City, and it sounds like a must for any fan of the channel.
The event includes games, food trucks, trivia, and prizes being given throughout the night, and it all leads into a free promotional screening of "Things You've Never Seen," which promises to be "A look at what's on the horizon for the network with unaired AS episodes, never-before-seen pilots and specials, and a load of other Williams Street favorites."
And the best part? It's a free event! You reserve your ticket by purchasing a $5 food voucher, but otherwise, entry is totally free. You can check out more info and save your spot right here.
