The Hudson Valley SPCA has shared jaw-dropping photos of a recent rescue dog's stunning transformation, and they need to be seen to be believed.

There are countless organizations in the Mid-Hudson Valley working tirelessly to not only rescue animals, but to find them loving forever homes as well. The story of Baxter is one of the most inspirational tales in recent memory.

Baxter the Hudson Valley Rescue Dog Undergoes Massive Transformation

Luckily, the following months saw Baxter make a remarkable recovery. From successful vet visits to an adoption, the loving animal soon started showing rapid signs of improvement.

Before and After Photos for Baxter the Rescue Dog

Nearly a year-to-the-day of Baxter's original rescue, the Orange County SPCA shared phenomenal news. Not only was Baxter thriving in his new home, but his physical condition had improved so much that he was nearly unrecognizable in side-by-side photos (below).

When Baxter was first recued, he was severely underweight, suffering from a skin condition, and unable to urinate on his own. Now, Baxter is thriving in his new home, seemingly transformed by the love and attention from the SPCA, local veterinarians, and his adopted family.
