Amazon Giving Gift Cards For Blood Donations

The Red Cross and Amazon have teamed up to stress the need for blood donations. The summer is traditionally a slow time for blood donations because regular donors are away from their regular donating routine because of vacations, etc, so blood donations are down and the need for blood is critical.

Amazon is now giving $5 e-gift cards with your blood donation for donations made now through August 30, 2018. The requirements? You have to make an appointment to donate through the Red Cross website, then actually go and donate blood. You will receive the gift card via email within 30 days of donating.
