Ever looked around and thought that every single person around you is sick and why doesn't everyone just stay home until they are recovered? Someone in Colorado did just that.

There is an entire school district in Western Colorado (43 schools, 22,000 students and 2700 staff) are now going to have off from today through December 2, 2019 because of a wide spread illness/virus.

The cause of the closure is related to not one but two separate viruses. However the symptom of both viruses includes vomiting and fever. This is the first time that the school district has taken such a drastic measure to try to keep the students well going forward.

According to the nursing coordinator for the district, from USAToday.com,  "We are taking this highly unusual action because this virus is extremely contagious and spreading quickly across our schools. In addition, it appears that there is now a second, related virus that is affecting students, some of whom have already been ill in recent weeks. The combination of the two has created an unprecedented spread of illness.”

Do you think that the school is doing the right thing? Or are they just being too cautious?
