Ok, you are craving some chips, you head to your pantry, but then you hear it on the news 'chip recall.' Yep, some of your crunchy goodness has been recalled due to possible salmonella contamination.

  • Jalapeno Flavored Lay's Kettle Cooked chips
  • Jalapeno Flavored Miss Vickie's Kettle Cooked potato chips

The possible salmonella contamination comes from one of the ingredients that has been used in the seasoning which gives your chips that spicy kick. As of this weekend, there have not been any reports of anyone getting sick from eating the chips. Frito Lay is announcing this recall out of an abundance of caution. The affected chips all have a best buy date of July 4, 2017 or prior.

If you have any of the chips, throw them out or return them to the place where you bought them for a refund or exchange. At this time, no other flavors are being recalled.
