So you finally got the holiday decorations put away and now you are just finding out that you have to see if your beloved Christmas Tree has been recalled? Yes, sorry to be the one to break it to you.

The particular tree that is in this recall is one that was sold at Christmas Tree Stores from, October 2016 through November of 2016. It is pre-lit and has multiple colored globe lights on it. The tree stands approximately 6.5 feet tall and is in the style of a Colorado Spruce.

Why are the trees being recalled? There apparently has been reports of exposed wires and seven reports of blown fuses on display trees in stores. Both of these issues are considered fire hazards. At this time, no injuries have been reported.

What should you do if you have one of these trees? You should unplug it, and return it to the Christmas Tree Store that you purchased it at. You will get a full refund.
