Beer. Bourbon. Bacon. What's not to love about this delicious trinity? Thousands gathered at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck for 2016's Beer, Bourbon and Bacon Festival.

The event featured dozens of craft brews and bourbon samples from seven distilleries in the Hudson Valley and beyond. The weather cooperated for a sunny day in the mid-80s, with plenty of shade in the bourbon and beer sampling areas. Vendors came up with unique pairings, melding the savory and sweet for some impressive and oh-so-delicious dishes and desserts.

The event featured live entertainment, with performances by Professor Louie & The Cromatix, Payne's Grey Sky and Painted Blue Sky.

Kicking yourself for missing it? There's another fantastic summer drink and food festival just around the corner. The Hudson Valley Cider Festival returns to Barton Orchards in Poughquag on Saturday, July 16. Get more information or purchase your tickets below.
