Over the last couple of weeks people have been asking how they can help since the devastation of the most recent hurricanes in the United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. There is one thing that is fairly easy for you to do in times of nation wide need, donate blood.

You need to be at least 17 years old, 16 if you have signed parental permission, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in over all good health. Click here for more information on blood donation restrictions.

Where can you donate blood, without going to a blood drive? Check with each center before heading to them. Certain centers are closed two to three days per week.
