A California teenager was pulled over in Dutchess County for speeding. Police say he was in possession of a fake license and an assortment of drugs.

Police pulled over Walker S. Van Zandt, 19, of Studio City, California, for speeding on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of East Fishkill. Police say an investigation revealed that he was in possession of a counterfeit driver’s license, cocaine, concentrated cannabis, marihuana, and bath salts.

Van Zandt was charged with 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 2nd-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, felonies, 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor, and violations for unlawful possession of marijuana and violation of New York State sanitary code.

Van Zandt was arraigned in the Town of LaGrange Court. He was released under the supervision of probation. The defendant’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 20 at Town of East Fishkill Court.
