Disc Golf might not be what you and your friends call it, but now there is another Hudson Valley location that you can play it in.

The new course is located in Northern Dutchess County in Milan, Wilcox Park. The course is open seven days a week, during regular park hours. The course is free if you bring your own discs. Forgot them at home? No worries, you can rent discs there. Currently there is a nine-hole course, but the site is hoping to expand to 18-holes by the fall of this year.

Other names it can go by? Frolf, Frisbee Golf and D-golf. It is defined by Urban Dictionary as:

Frolf is a sport - essentially golf with Frisbees instead of golf balls. Players throw disks smaller than a normal Frisbee with the goal of landing a disk into a basket in as few throws as possible.
"No, I don't want to go golfing dude, that's for old rich guys. Let's go frolf for free at the park."

Wilcox park is open 9AM to 7PM Monday through Friday and 9AM to 8PM on Saturday and Sunday, through Labor Day. There is a per carload entrance fee, $5 per car for Dutchess County residents and $10 per car for non-DC residents. If you need to rent discs, the charge is $5 for three discs. Disc golf would be free though if you bring your own discs.
