Dole Packaged Salads Being Recalled

In a feature that I am thinking about calling, "Another Day, Another Food Recall" there is yet another reason to go hunting in your refrigerator.

Listeria. Listeriosis. Dole is now recalling packaged salads because of a possibility of listeria contamination.

Dole sold the salad mixes in packages that could have been easily found in your grocery stores produce section. The recall is limited to production codes that start with the letter A. Products were also produced under the following brand names:

• Dole
• Fresh Selections
• Simple Truth
• Marketside
• The Little Salad Bar
• President's Choice Organics

If you have the affected items in your pantry, do not consume it. It is suggested that you place it in another plastic bag, and seal it tightly (to keep animals from eating it) and then throw it away.
