Dutchess County Mobile Health Clinics Now Running
Access to basic medical care, a seemingly easy ask, but not necessarily an easy thing to do. One Hudson Valley county has made access to several important health services via mobile health clinics a priority.

Priding themselves on providing 'accessible and in-depth mobile health services' that will ultimately improve the health and safety of residents across Dutchess County, the Mobile Health Unit quite literally rolls into town with a plethora of public and behavioral health services that aid in health and wellness.
Dutchess County Announces Mobile Health Unit
Rolling into several locations across the Hudson Valley this month, the Dutchess County Department of Health, in partnership with Sun River Health and several community organizations, have released information about upcoming mobile health clinics.
Helping to ensure that EVERYONE in Dutchess County has access to basic medical care, the Mobile Health Unit (MHU) has four upcoming stops, one as early as Thursday, April 3rd, across the county.
According to Dutchess County Government, at each and every stop the MHU makes there will be a provider inside the mobile unit that will address general health needs with wellness checks on things like blood pressure and pre-diabetes screenings, vaccinations, immunizations, and STI screenings. The MHU is also able to do mental health screenings and substance abuse services as well.
The team will also provide resources for additional care and insurance navigation assistance, as well as Narcan training, healthy eating resources, CPR training and other health-related trainings via the Public Health Education Coordinators.
