Days Left: Newer Hudson Valley Antique Shop Announces Closure
A fairly new business in the Hudson Valley has announced their upcoming closure, as owner plans to relocate to Alabama.

Former Consignment Shop's Sudden Closure
A little over a year ago, Hudson Valley residents were left both confused and concerned following the sudden closure of Simplicity Consignment on New Hackensack Road in Poughkeepsie.
Consigners, customers, and even employees were shocked by the seemingly 'quiet closure' of Simplicity, with plenty wondering about the items they had dropped off to be consigned, and others waiting on money owed to them for prior sales.
A local property management company ended up posting information about the shop's closure, providing some updates about items, but not much else was ever revealed regarding the prior owners.

Thank you for the busiest and most fun year of my life! We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you, helping you select items for yourself, your home, and your loved ones, seeing your before and after photos, of purchases placed in your own home, and for checking in regularly to shop and say Hello! Thank you for your generous comments, for teaching us, and for supporting our business!
With a limited number of shopping days left (Wednesday through Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 12pm-6pm), they are are having closing sales of 30-50% off, and welcome offers on store furnishings.
In the event that any Hudson Valley'ers have ties to Birmingham Alabama, they do plan to reopen The Hive once they get settled in their new home.
